Downloadable PSP Games - The Future For Gaming Fans

Who ever you talk to these days everybody seems to be downloading stuff of the Internet. Music, movies, software and yes games. The gaming industry is massive, a multi million dollar industry larger even than the movie industry (I know hard to believe but true). Nobody wants to go to the shop and buy games anymore they want the speed and easy of a game download and there are plenty of people offering this service. Downloadable PSP games are now everywhere and here to stay.

So can you trust everybody? Well no you can not, a friend of mine found a download site and proceeded to download what he thought was God Of War for his PSP and half way through his computer froze. As it turns out he had downloaded a nasty virus and $150 later his computer was up and running again. A costly mistake. Now I'm not trying to put you off downloading PSP games far from it. I download hundreds of games a month to play, I'm just saying you have to be careful and trust the download site.

I get my PSP downloads from a membership site. Before you all start moaning and crying about membership fees let me explain. I paid a one of fee and it wasn't even the price of one PSP game. I never have to pay anything ever again, just that one payment. I now have a lifetime platinum and access to everything on the site for safe download. I can absolutely guarantee I will never get a virus or any adware or spyware on my computer (something free downloads could never guarantee). The site has over 20 million files for download, yes 20 million I will never have time to download everything but I just search for the latest and top games for PSP and away I go.

I love my PSP and the great thing is I get all my games without paying for them. if you love your PSP head on over to Monster-PSP.com For all the latest news on your PSP.

What to Expect From the Warhammer Online PvP

One of the more popular aspects of the soon to be released MMORPG is the Warhammer Online PvP battles. Mythic Entertainment (the creators of the game) have spent a great deal of time and effort perfecting the Warhammer Online PvP system, and one of the things they have focused on is the idea of strategy.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Because the game is loosely based on the all-strategy table top game, Mythic Entertainment badly wanted to make sure that the game they released would not be something that one could simply click a bunch of buttons and win by luck - they wanted the game to be a game of thought and strategy, where players had to plan who to attack, how to attack, and understand the strengths and weaknesses of their characters.

For example, Tank battle types (stronger battle characters that run into battle) are strong in hand to hand combat but weak in ranged combat. The idea behind the Warhammer Online PvP is that tank characters either try to avoid ranged characters or they try to make up for their weakness with something that closes the gap, like a healer (who can heal the tank character while he catches up with the ranged character).

That type of strategy system is paramount in the Warhammer Online PvP.

Making it a Focus

An interview with Richard Duffek, the coordinator of Warhammer Online and the Warhammer Online PvP, said that the game itself is designed around the PvP play - unlike other games which he states the PvP was "added as an afterthought."

He believes that by focusing on the Warhammer Online PvP as well as the PvE, the game can tap into the market of individuals that prefer PvP combat, yet still have enough available that PvE is equally as entertaining, and can compete with some of the other big name MMORPG guides.

Stephen Fredricks is a top MMO player and a popular writer of many gaming guides. His newest guide will be released at TheWarhammerGuide.com and includes a great deal of information about Warhammer Online PvP.

Cell Phone Revolution

Will cell phones be the future of gaming?

On buses and trains and at the local Starbucks, more and more business people are staring at their cell phones. But they're not trying to close the latest deal! No, the new interest in cell phones is gaming, and everyone is swept up in this craze.

After the success of Atari in the 70's, arcades sprung up and gaming became seen as childish or nerdy. After years of continued growth, gaming is now even larger than the movie industry. But until recently, average people fell like they aren't interested in wasting their time and were embarrassed to admit they played. So what's changed this trend?

People are now surrounded by computers and technology. With the ubiquitous cell phone on every hip and in every purse, it is harder and harder to find a time to wind down during lunch and on break. With stress levels rising, it is more important to relieve this stress and come back to work productive and energized.

Not only do cell phones provide a way to play video games, but game makers have gone after business users, making games that are now shorter and can be played in short bursts, making them ideal for coffee breaks and lunches. A puzzle game can be a stimulating challenge that keeps the brain working. A board game can be a relaxing break that lets you rest your mind. And all of these games can be played in 5 minutes or less.

So the next time you stand around the water cooler, don't be surprised if idle banter and gossip is replaced with battle cries and victory cheers!

How To Fix Your Playstation 2 Yourself Without Having To Shell Out A Lot Money - Easy To Use Guide

How to Fix your broken Sony Playstation 2/PS2 Game System

So do you fit into this catergory? You go and buy a PS2/Playstation 2 because its an awesome system and it play some cool games, such as Guitar Hero....etc. After spending about $130 you figure that a system like this isn't going to tear up considering Sony made it and the price you paid. Well, after about a month or two of playing it you can notice some glitches while you are playing games and all of the sudden it quits working.

So here are your options.....1) Go and get a new for $130 (if you're rich I suppose this is a good option) 2) Call Playstation support and stay on the phone for 2 hours talking to someone you can barely understand (this is good for someone who has time and patience) 3) Find a place that repairs PS2 and pay a lot of money getting it repaired and lose valuable playing time (again you need to be rich, have lots of time, and patience)

So if you are like every other human being on this earth.....your money is tight, your time is limited, and your patience are thin. This scenario I have just described is very similar to what happend to me and my PS2. I had these three options and all of them stunk! So one day while I was surfing ebay for a new/used PS2 (hoping I would get a good deal) I came across this auction. This auction was selling a guide on how to fix your PS2 guide yourself. At first, I was very skeptical because I figured that in order to fix a complicated machine like that you had to be some computer wiz. So I pondered on the auction and decided what the heck it is only $2.99, the guy has great feedback, and you get it instantly through instant download (technology is great). So I purchased it and figured well if it works I saved a lot of money and time.

And guess what... it did work! I guess you already figured that out though because I wouldn't be on here writing an article if it didn't. Seriously, though if your PS2 is not working don't waste money and time buying a new one or getting it repaired when you can do it yourself.
